A Paucity of Executive Experience
The degree of incompetence in this administration is astonishing! From the beginning we have seen cabinet level positions filled with tax cheats. stumble after stumble over foreign policy. Bowing to foreign monarchs, apologizing again and again and again for various supposed malodorous behaviors of the United States. Putting out “barbecue” fires while raging inferno forest fires are nearby!
OKay, so the last bit was hyperbole, and I admit it. Which is a hell-uv-a-lot more than Mr. Obama is willing to do. Lets face it, this is the first Potus in need of this:

“What,” you say? Didn’t Carter need Training Wheels? Nah, Carter, as bad a choice as he was, at least had some executive experience. Obama has never run anything and it is showing. His picks for assistance suck, he has yet to fill critical jobs, he has underestimated the deficit, he has claimed jobs that do not exist except in the fevered imagination, he selected the one man in the Senate whose mouth no one can control – Joe Biden(*), and Mr. Motor-Mouth has entirely lived up to his reputation embarrassing Obama again and again. A chief executive of an entity ought to know where/when public pressure to say and/or do something is appropriate, such as commenting (at least) on the murder of a soldier by a Muslim fanatic in Little Rock. He picks and chooses what he makes public comment on and his biases show. He condems (rightly) the murder of a security guard at the Holocaust Museum but doesn’t say anything about the Soldier in Little Rock. He mourns the passing of very strange Michael Jackson, but says nothing about other notables passing at around the same time. He hesitates and waffles on condemning the murderous Mullah’s in Iran beating down a nascent democratic movement but condemns outright the legal tossing of a left wing dictator wanna be in Honduras.
Obama just doesn’t know what he is doing. And you Democrats out there still supporting him haven’t got the slightest idea that he is incompetent. I remember all the Democrat’s whining about the deficit under George Bush where is that same angst about the deficit that in the first year alone is three times anything Bush did or didn’t do.
An executive should know when he is over-reaching. Obama has no idea. His desire for more and more imperial power has led him to create “czars” where none should exist, especially since many of these so called “Czars” have more access and power than do cabinet Secretary’s. In addition, Obama is involving governmental control/ownership in areas it has no business in. Auto manufacturing? Banking? Insurance? Health care?
Obama and his minions in congress don’t even recognize that the biggest part of many of our problems is government meddling in the first place. Democrats and Republicans in Congress wail and moan with much gnashing of teeth and clenching of fists about the pending bankruptcy of Medicare. Well guess who screwed it up in the first place? I didn’t support it at the beginning (of course, I was only a 20 year old in college then so what did I know?) and I absolutely knew that seniors were one of the biggest voting blocks out there unlike my generation then. I absolutely knew at that tender age that congress would tack on benefit after benefit after benefit to Medicare in order to obtain and keep seniors votes in their pocket and everything since then has confirmed that early idea.
Government in general and Obama and the two parties in particular have become slaves to their supposed constituencies. The Union vote. The senior vote, the gun-rights vote. The college vote. The blue collar vote. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera and so to keep those votes, they tap into more and more of the public purse and now we are (and have been for a long, long time) bankrupt. Households cannot spend and spend over their income like congress does and stay out of hock, let alone out of jail. Take a look at this for example: In the eighth month of fiscal 2009, there was a deficit of $991.9
billion, compared with a deficit of $319.4 billion a year earlier. But both of those stats are for a single year. The total amount owed? 
and that amount increases by some 3.94 billion a day. To top that off, we have a VPOTUS who just told us that the way out of debt was to spend more.
Totally out of control folks, and that ain’t no joke – and the Republicans and the Democrats have helped it along. We need to go back to basics, back to honest conservatism or hell, even honest liberalism (i.e., classic liberalism) but we have to do something, because the status quo isn’t working and Obama has no clue about the future.

Obama also snubbed “National Day of Prayer” but was prominent in celebrating “Gay Pride Month”, which says a lot about his “traditional values.” Obama gives gayness an entire month of celebration but doesn’t give one minute to acknowledge prayer to God?!
Obama’s own appointees and nominees can’t even fill out their tax returns correctly, but they say that they are qualified to spend trillions of our dollars?!

Let us debate whether Mr. Øbama knows what he is doing. When you stated, “Øbama just doesn’t know what he is doing,” you based your argument on an erroneous assumption. You established the standard for this assumption based on what you know and understand about previous presidencies. Ordinarily, I would agree with you, that judging Mr. Øbama’s executive behavior on the decisions and performance of other presidents, we could determine that BHO is incompetent, even dangerously so.
But I think your assumption is flawed. I argue that your president knows exactly what he is doing. He has set about to destroy the United States of America, its people, and any hope it might have had (last October) for the future. When Mr. Øbama is finished doing his work, we may not even have a republic. Oh, sure … the land will still be here, but we’ll be living under Shar’ia Law, the government of Mexico will be in charge of our National Health Care System, and our military will consist of John Kerry as Secretary of Defense and two copies of Air Force One. All of us will be working for moldy slices of bread and two scoops of soup, relinquishing all other income to the government, of the government, and for the government.
I’m so glad I could help you feel better about the future of your (former) republic.
$11 trillion plus and climbing. As Keynes let the cat out of the bag; “There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency.” By spending and borrowing astronomical amounts of money, hyperinflation will eventually set in and bankrupt the country. And who will be hurt first and the most: Poor Americans and Americans on fixed incomes. Will Americans turn to government again then to get us out of another government created crisis? Given the power, will Obama or his successor move the country from our current socialist soft despotism to a totalitarian dictatorship with martial law? Those are the risks this incompetent crackpot is taking, and yet the news media keep going on about what a wonderful, historical Presidency this is!
Joe Biden said we had to spend more to avoid bankruptcy. That is like telling a fat guy he has to eat more to lose weight.
I’m with Mustang — I think Obama absolutely knows what he is doing, and he is carefully and methodically using the highest office in the land to destroy freedom at every chance. He and his wife honestly hate a lot of things, and they are working hard to crush everything they dislike. He honestly does not care if people he appoint have tax problems, because he knows that it won’t matter one bit — he still gets to appoint them. He supports dictators because he wants to emulate them and wants their support.
We could speculate endlessly on whether Obama knows what he’s doing but I doubt it’ll make much difference. I think you guys are right though in that he’s used the economic crisis to full speed go after more power. Whether leftists understand economics or not is debatable: In other words, do they really understand that their programs don’t make sense and will destroy the economy, or do they just not care because that’s their goal: to destroy the economy and take it over.
Does he not care that he appoints a bunch of tax cheats? From what I’ve heard his vetting process has bogged down because they’re not taking anymore chances of that happening. Could be true. Or does he just not give s–t because he knows the media will spin anything he does in his favor? We could definitely speculate endlessly. I think I’m with those who would give him credit for being a formidable opponent though; it’s never smart to underestimate your opponent.
On the other hand, ridicule is an effective tactic favored by the left (in addition to spewing hate which is less effective in the long run). There’s no reason we can’t use it too.
And don’t forget this idiot condemned Honduras, when they showed that their constitution works when it comes to throwing out a leader who tries to make an illegal and unconstitutional power grab.
