What Goes Around …
… comes around! And so it truly is. Many years ago I had a significant set-to with a supervisor and the big boss asked me if I wanted him to step in. I said “No thanks, I’m still a big boy and what goes around, comes around.”
And so it did because 6 months or so later that supervisor was fired. I re-tell this little cautionary tale because of all those folk who lambasted Bush II calling him all sorts of foul names because of his “exploding deficts.”
In 2004, MoveOn.org the Clinton apologists and later pseudo-pundits and supporters of all things left produced a cute little video lambasting Bush II for the deficits and would’t you know …
You just have to be careful don’t you… you just gotta, and since Team Obama wasn’t careful, here for your elucidation and edification is a year by year comparison of the annual deficit expendatures for Bush II (actual) and the projected expendatures for Obama (projected) in a little graph I made up for your enjoyment with data gleened from our good friends at Gateway Pundit.

Scary isn’t it. But those of us who advised against voting for The Won, The Obamamessiah, The Light Bringer told you that this was coming. Oh yes we did!!! Oh, and just to make you liberals a little more miserable and heighten the sense of buyers remorse, the house just passed Obama’s budget without a single Republican vote. You guys own it now, lock, stock and deficit.
Hat tip to Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit for the video and to Gateway Pundit for the data

You’re comparing actual to projected numbers and then faulting Obama for something that hasn’t even happened yet? Also, it doesn’t matter if any Republicans voted for something or not, American legislation and affects all of us. If you don’t like U.S law move to France.
So, apple, since you do not accept Obama’s projected expenditures, are you calling him a liar? And since you advocate blind following of all law, I presume you would be happy with and obey a law that says that all people who comment with the name apple should be shot? After all, if the law passed you have to obey or move to France, right?
What’s the X-axis on that graph? You were seriously an adjunct professor? Either you’re a wicked liar, or just an idiot.
Apple, I see that you are from the University of Alabama, or are at least commenting from there. And I find this interesting because the left via MoveOn and other institutions of pitiful partisanship commented on Bush’s “future” expendatures by implication with their little “child” movie. Or didn’t you understand that?
You are also asking what is the X-axis on the graph. Apparantly you have trouble reading as well as understanding, I stated, very clearly I think that it was a year by year comparison (that is why they are labled years 1-8 with the last pair a total. And yes, of course I can compare actual to projected. Its done in business all the time so that people can see what the likely outcome of “change” will be.
And yes little friend, it does matter that the Republicans didn’t vote for the budget, because now the Democrats cannot possibly claim it was Bipartisan… something both Democrats and Republicans tend to do if they get a few votes from the other side. I would have thought that someone commenting from a university would have understood that.
Lastly my dear little fruit of the tree, it is not U.S. law because the president hasn’t signed off on it, it is merely a bill. The Senate and House have passed competeing bills which now must go to committee to be ironed out so that a unified budget can be passed. I could guess from the tone of your comments (calling me a liar and wicked liar at that; oh, and an idiot too – wow!) that you missed seeing School House Rock – I’m Just A Bill and you probably missed reading anything from Miss Manners.
And that, young fruit of the apple tree, I find sad, because that means you lack sufficient intellect to joust with me.
Little intellect, you have no business calling me either an idiot or a wicked liar. You do need to read more carefully and you need to be just a little more polite in the company of your betters.

Awe the little Granny Smith has come over here GM, to play? He’s been rotting the grounds at ARS for a week or so now…and he’s someone we have all dealt with before- from University of Alabama Computer Center.
Liberals hate to be forced to see graphs that show their HUGE wastes of money potential- because the pictures are so awfully dramatic and wow, can anyone imagine anyone spending more than that evil chimp???
Pfft. Barry will kill this country tens times over, and we’re all gonna pay him to do it, many blindly. NOT ME.
When I went to Alabama, the computer center was using punch cards to load programs and data bases. I suspect that Apple isn’t using an Apple and may still be in that same old data center.
GM, Woody, there may be snow on the ground in Carson City this morning, but I don’t care. It starts again Sunday!
Since GM is a licensed mental health professional, it would appear that “Apple” came to the right place.
I do think it is healthy for acolytes to ask questions of learned people; it is never appropriate to resort to name calling simply because the acolyte doesn’t understand how to read a chart or graph. Normally, people master this as high school freshmen, but that’s an entirely different topic.
In any case, Apple’s response does strongly suggest that we stop admitting students to colleges and universities based on Affirmative Action programs; it isn’t working.
It seems that yet again, a little college troll demonstrates why most colleges and universities would do well to administer entance exams, to make sure students pocess the core skills? Of course that wouldn’t point out a lack of socialization skills or a talent for name calling when you lack the ability to formulate a “logical and sound arguement”!!! In IT we call generating bar charts and graphes to be “modeling” based on all the data we have on hand. It is pretty good science that looks ahead at what, given the data today, we can “project” or predict will happen in the future! It keeps us from pursuing projects that will bankrupt our companies! Of course given most liberals disdain for living in reality, looking at the road ahead must send them into a tailspin of migraine headaches and shrilling!!!
H.A.M., great response, thanks. Of course, the X-axis and the Y-axis are easily discernible (apple, you can look that word up) if you read the accompanying paragraphs. Guess lil’ apple didn’t do so well in word problems did he?
